Office Updates on Coronavirus

We can now open for routine dental care!

For patients who have appointments, we are asking you to please call us at 603-778-0400 when you arrive in the parking lot.  We will call you when we're ready to seat you and then we will meet you at the front door to screen you for admission to the office.  It's a few questions and a temperature check of you and your child.

If anyone in your house has had flu like symptoms including loss of taste or smell in the past three weeks please call the office before showing up.  The same goes for any travel of someone in your house outside NH or Maine in the past two weeks.

Please continue reading for more very important info on the policies in the office that you need to be aware of before arriving.

On Friday March 8th, Governor Chris Sununu updated the state’s recommendations for dental offices. As of Monday, May 11th, we are now to allowed to perform routine dental care including cleanings. This decision was made after consultation with the NH’s DHHS Bureau of Infectious Disease and the NH Dental Society.

As part of the recommendation, all offices are required to implement new protocols for infection control designed by the American Dental Association and the CDC prior to reopening. Below we would like to share with you the changes we have made to keep you and our staff safe.

Please be aware these changes are in addition to our existing rigorous infection control we have used in the office for years. We ask for your patience as we adapt to this 'new normal'.

Staff Monitoring: All doctors, staff and patients are being screed daily for symptoms or potential exposure to COVID-19.

Temperatures: All patients, parents and staff will have their temperatures taken before entering the office. No one will be allowed entry into the office if they have a fever.

Masks: We are requiring all parents and patients who enter our office to have a mask or face covering. We will provide one for you if necessary. In addition, all of our staff members will be wearing masks at all times.

Please note we have obtained the necessary PPE for all our staff including N95 and face shields.

Reduced Traffic: We have increased appointment times so there are fewer patients seen in a day and less patients in the office at one time.

Reception: We are requesting patients wait in their car until called.

We then ask that only one parent accompany small children to their visit.

We will also be performing touch-less check in and check out to ensure minimal exposure.

Disinfection: We have also implemented an office wide surface decontamination routine that occurs every 30-60 minutes.

And More: Even more is going on behind the scenes. Please ask us if you have questions, and remember we are all in this together.

Please know we are here for you both now and throughout this pandemic. With five caring and well trained pediatric dentists on staff, we can usually address any issue in short order. We look forward to seeing you and your children soon and if you have any questions, please just give us a call.

Warmest Regards,

Drs.  Natalie, Ashley and Jon
